Summit Travel was established in 1985 as Travel Agents International.  Travel Agents International was purchased by Steve and Linda Boggard in 1987 and was sold to Leonard and Marsh Passmore in 1990.  In 1996 when Carlson Wagonlit purchased the Travel Agents International Franchisor, the name was changed to Carlson Wagonlit Travel.  In 2006 when the franchise agreement expired, we remained with the Carlson Wagonlit Franchise as a Results agency, and changed our name to Summit Travel.  In September 2008, Nick  Simone purchased the agency.

Community Events

Summit Travel is active within the community and we can be found at many events.  We also ask our suppliers to present special events.  The type of presentations we have hosted in the past include but are not limited to Storytelling Trip Presentations, Cruise Seminars, Alaska, Hawaii, Disney Travel and Honeymoon seminars with the premier Honeymoon vendor, Sandal's Resorts, Alumni and other types of group travel.  These seminars can help you make an informed decision and the choose between two hotels. 

This year's list includes:

1.  Caribbean Night at Summit Travel.  Sandals resorts will be in our office March 16th at 6pm to do a short presentation about their resort properties.

We are available for travel presentations at other locations and have traveled as far as Knoxville and Virginia Beach VA for presentations.  You may submit a request for a specific topic to travel@summitjc.com and we will be happy to help your organizations needs.
